Why is this funeral home still allowed to service funerals based on cases in Columbus, Ms. against its unjust, immoral obligations and cases from customers? - ()

Our family has been taken care of by this funeral home for 40 years or more and we've never had a complaint. Mr. Lummis makes the entire ordeal easier and helps with so many of the minute details. - ()

I was very impressed with the professional services provided for my family, and the services rendered to my deceased aunt Carolyn Davis on April 5, 2014. The facility is beautiful and the service was excellent ..it made our family transition a lot more comforting during this difficult time. And on behalf of my family I would like to say thank you very much. - ()

My family and I went to Charles J. O'Shea funeral home in Wantagh and were treated with the upmost respect from the initial phone call. My Grandmother was very sick, which worried us, but she looked fantastic. We gave them our most memorable pictures of her and they made a beautiful slideshow. During the visitation the staff was accommodating and always in sight if we needed anything. After church the limousine driver had coffee and rolls for us. These little touches made all the differences in our great time of loss. - ()

I found this establishment very difficult to work with in such a hard time of my life. The only thing a funeral home should provide is comfort and understanding. Not show a terrible attitude and ignorance. Shame on them! - ()

I tried to leave a condolence message for the Bennington family, but could only find where I could leave a card for $6.90. I will try later, but was disappointed that I couldn't since we will be out of town for the service. - ()

I attended the services of Vicki Pittman yesterday and was very disappointed in your services. With today technology you should have known due to the weather, there will have to be a DELAYED BURIAL. The family should not had to put through that long ride from the church to Washington Memory Gardens walk in the mud and standing water to be told this. The Family entrusted you to make this a less painful experience as possible. But LEAKS & Sons let the family and friends down. I will never use your services or refer you to any one. This was very insensitive on Leaks & Sons!!!!!!!! - ()

I recently can to knowledge of your funeral home through the media and the story regarding grieving parents attempted theft of their deceased son's ashes. I recently lost my infant son. I am disgusted with your funeral home. The funeral home that handled our son's services and cremation did not charge us a dime. They refused to accept any type of payment. Our of respect for us and what they recognized as such a significant loss they were willing to take the financial loss. Mesa Funeral Home in Grand Junction Colorado. You should take a lesson from them!!! It was an amazing gift to us to comfort us. Mr. Edgar Rodriguez to you personally, to say in your interview that you hope the family is able to find closure in their theft and not being able to get the sons ashes out of the country is terrible. That was a very mean and hurtful thing to say. How dare you use manipulation of grieve of these people's son to support your cause. And really you think you are a compassionate man to offer to reduce the fee. You should have never mentioned charging them in the first place!!!! I also understand how funeral homes work. They are a business and therefore need to make a profit. I have immediate family members who own and operate a funeral home. You sir only care about profit in the business. Your business clearly has no compassion for it's customers. This would be the last place on earth I would allow my loved ones to be handled. - ()

I hope I did not send a personal message to a friend which will appear in Morgan Jeffer's book on line. If I did, could you delete it. It was not nice and i would not want anyone to read it. - ()

On behalf of 8 daughters and a mother, we want to thank Coopers and Jake Hebdon for the wonderful, very professional services provided. Jake came to the house and picked up my father. From the minute he walked in the door he made my 80 year old very comfortable. We told her he was "Jake from State Farm", she knew that commercial well. Then I found out that I actually worked with his mother and had known all about his career change and adventures in his new career. From that point on he dealt very well addressing questions and answers to my mother instead of all the girls. He answered her questions in a way she understood. She was able to make her own decision with as much time as she needed. She chose cremation but, did not want the ashes at the service. He took our special pictures to the floral shop so flowers could be arranged around them. He also contacted the Veterans associations and set up the arrangements for the military service. He even took some calls throughout the couple days with last minute questions we each had. I am disabled and can not walk or stand for only a few minutes at a time. Cooper's have an elevator which makes it very convenient for anyone with ambulation difficulties. I was able to use a cane instead of a walker or wheelchair because of the elevator convenience. The room was large and our party fit in there nicely. We felt all together. Some funeral homes have 2 small rooms and the people in the back feel separated and blocked off. In those visual ability is poor as well as hearing what people are saying. We were told by a person in attendance that this was the best funeral they have attended. I agree, my 2 brother in laws were allowed to perform the service. The floral shop owner is a long time friend of my parents. Like I said, we appreciate everything they did to make this day easier for us and they succeeded. I would recommend Cooper's Funeral Home to anyone. - ()
