My brother-in-law's funeral was conducted by Rice Funeral Services. Everything about their services were superb. Very nice, courteous, and professional staff. We can't say "thanks" enough. - (Mrs. Jim Larson)

My husband died on the 19th of March....you put the 13th of March on the certificate. I tried to clear this up for the past month with no luck. Vital Statistics say you were the only people to clear this up....I have been on the phone all - (Mrs. Robert Reich)
What a great lady! When we think of Mary Ellen we are filled with fun and pleasant memories. The blue ribbon jumpers she helped Ronnie and I with to enter in the Pend Oreille County Fair, the trip to Canada, just playing at her house since I was nine years old holds many special times, the "Grizzly Hunt" of KUBS radio, all the yummy birthday desserts, the 50th birthday wall hanging, and decorating the Christmas cookies we did this past year are just some of the things we hold very dear. She was like a second Mom to me. We will always miss her.
With all our love,
Kim and Leroy - (Kim and Leroy Bishop & family)
Foley did my friend Tim Hearn in July 2010 and it was the worst ever .
He should have never let the casket be open .
he should be ashamed of himself even being a funeral director
- (Joe Browne)
I can only speak for my own personal experience; our family member died unexpectedly and penniless. Unfortunately, we had to go thru the indigent program for our family member's end of life plans. --This mortuary treated us like less than second class citizens and worthless bums. -- They didn't return phone calls in a timely manner, if at all. Treated us as if they were personally doing us a favor. Paid nearly no attention to details. No empathy, concern or even the slightest bit of professionalism exhibited by the pretentious undertaker who was very aloof and uncaring as well as the administrative assistant who was just down right rude and very defensive and acted as if we were bothering her or taking up her time. -- The mortuary itself, is smelly, dirty and extremely out-dated. - (beware !!!)
Most obit's have an area where condolences may be sent, however this one is only possible to send flowers. Crass commercialization at the begining and the end I see. - (Lee Hussin)
I am son in law of marie plate who was buried by you, on her death certificate the soc. sec. is wrong information by irs. is 097 24 6443 should be 080 30 4235 should be changed. - (Frank Wickers)
Great Folks,I wish all funeral homes were like Browns! They were honest and did exactly what our family wanted, even though our what we wanted was a little diferant. Great price. - (Jim Brand)
The sign is not visible from road. I drove by 2 times. The writing in the newspaper looked like it was thrown together in a rush very sloppy and not thought out. Was told that some types of flowers were not accepted unless they were a certain height. But on their website, they have where you can order flowers in vases and states they are appropriate for church or funeral home. When the family arrived at the cemetery the director (Ms) was standing with her arms folded like she was ready for it to be over and where have you been kind of look. No flowers were at the cemetery. The casket was already lowered in the ground but had not been closed yet. There was not tent or chairs. After they closed the casket and before everyone left, the maintenance guys were on hand to go ahead and cover up the casket only to get it over kind of attitude. So, I would not EVER choose Kings. I was not pleased at all. - (Janet)
I Called this very rude man about arrangements about my next husband father of my children. He yelled at me refusing to help or find out all that I wanted and hung up on me!! - (Mrs Myrtle (Hudgens) Calahan)
When my mother passed away, it was very hard for me to handle, I had to deal with it by myself. Although I was alone the director at Salazar & Sons Mortuary made me feel at ease about arranging her services. I have and would recommended to my friends and co-workers. - (Mindy G.)
this funeral home has to be the worse funeral home in Brooklyn. my cousin smelled horrible and the bathrooms were atrocious. The owner over charged my family for a casket with scratches and dents - (kessler orn)
