Funeral Home Reviews
Newport, Washington
What a great lady! When we think of Mary Ellen we are filled with fun and pleasant memories. The blue ribbon jumpers she helped Ronnie and I with to enter in the Pend Oreille County Fair, the trip to Canada, just playing at her house since I was nine years old holds many special times, the "Grizzly Hunt" of KUBS radio, all the yummy birthday desserts, the 50th birthday wall hanging, and decorating the Christmas cookies we did this past year are just some of the things we hold very dear. She was like a second Mom to me. We will always miss her. With all our love, Kim and Leroy

Why don't you put the email address of the Funeral Home as well as the street address? I can't find the email address for the Funeral Home I want to contact anywhere on your website.

I cannot recommend this funeral home at all. The older gentleman who runs it has zero compassion. He talked about how he didn't like the job, couldn't wait to retire, showed off his new watch. The thing that really still bothers me is at the cemetery he was standing behind the navy guard handing me a flag with paperwork in hand, I don't remember the navy mans speech as I was being distracted by this sims guy leaning over his shoulder waiting for him to get done. The minute the guard handed me the flag and left there was this man handing me a flag holder and thanking me for my business. My daughter had broken down on my shoulder when the flag was presented, and I couldn't even comfort her because this guy was in such a rush to get out of there, I had to u hug my daughter to accept the paper work. Everyone noticed but because of the situation didn't intercede. It was appealing, and that's the memory Of my husbands service I'm stuck with. I had to leave the room several times during the planning stage because of his insensitivity, and let my sister speak for me. I looked a headstones there but was so mad at this man I decided to choose one later, and I'm glad I did. I went to wire grass memorial for the headstone and was quoted a price two and a half times cheaper and nicer then the one sims quoted me. I highly recommend speaking to wiregrass memorial before going to sims. They don't do the service but can tell you who is good or not.
