Funeral Home Reviews

I was very displeased with the services rendered by the Smith Funeral Service INC My relative looked horrible and she was poorly taken care of even if it was short notice never in my life would I recommend this company to anyone. I am deeply dissatisfied. I felt so much disrespect because the funeral was barely over before they pushed her into the ground. These people should be ashamed of themselves for what they did. I WILL NEVER LOOK TO THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!!!!

Robinette Funeral Home handled the services for my father on Sunday. Pat, his family, and Johnny are professionals who add a personal and sincere touch.

In addition to all of the advertising, would it be possible to list the obituary so that those of us who live out-of-town could be informed?

I would like too apologize for the comment that was made about my grandmothers funeral (McCullen) in the review that was posted a few months ago!! First and foremost my grandmother was a private woman. She didnt wont a big church funeral just something small and with family. She only wanted a graveside service which was done. And Smith Funeral Services made sure that these things were meant. Even down too picking out my grandmother plot. They did a wonderful job and my mother, aunts, uncles and myself were very happy with there work. To - Smith Funeral Home I do apologize for the negive comment that was made towards your business... Just know that the ones that were there making arrangements were happy with everything that y'all did and that is all that matters!! And Again Thank You For Everything. C.Stone

02/23/13 at 11:00 am, Mr. Willam Creed was laid to rest in the Mount Comfort Cemetary. The weather was not perfect with a drizzling cold rain. Our family stood by Mr. Creed's grave site under a canopy that had been erected by your grounds keepers as well as metal folding chairs that had a cloth covering. Family members attempted to sit in the chairs only to discover they were completely saturated with water and the cloth covers have to be removed and the seats dried with kleenix. After sitting down water started to leak down on our family. I looked up and noticed not only was there a large tear in the canopy but you could see mud on the interior. Mr. Creed's casket was draped with an American flag which was also had water leaking on the top of it. I found this incident to be very disturbing by the lack of professionalism that was exhibited by your employees this day, Several of my family members are elderly and they got soaking wet. Mr. Creed was my uncle and Korean War veteran, the only professionals that did their duty this day was the Army Honor Guard and the Minister. My famly was insulted by the way your cemetary did not exercise due care to insure that their service would be made as comfortable as possible it is unexcusible to say the very least. My aunt had to pay $2300 for this service provided by your employees which is totally out of line for the quality of service provided.
