My brother , Robert Stephens died June 30th. He had a graveside service through Cole Funeral Home, in McGregor. The day my sister and I went to plan his funeral we were told we would have to pay in full that day. We paid over $11,000. Then another $11,000 was paid from his estate. My sister and I have been trying since that time to recover our money. We've had lies, promises and a lot of lip service, but no money. I used my credit cars to pay my half, that bill is due in a few days..but still no money!! I'll have to deplete my savings accounts to get it paid on time. I would advise anyone not to die in Mcgregor or go to Waco to find someone who is not so dishonest. My sister was told several times that the money would be delivered to her house, that has never happened. You don't have a negative star rating for this review, it is even less than one star.

Very dissatisfied with the service I received, ordered a headstone for my other was promised the headstone would be ready in 2 months which turned out to be 6 months, called several tea to inquire about headstone he would not answer or return my call had to go to his office and his secretary called him and he answered her call and he had a 101 excuses none acceptable, very dissatisfied.

I find that your list of obituaries is very unreliable. You were handling the details of the death of Justin Miller who passed away on 12/26. I called Grimes to learn of the details of the service and was told arrangements hadn't been made yet, but your website would be updated immediately when finalized. The service happened on 12/29 in Harper. I was told by a family member that the time was 3:00pm. I still returned to your website up until the time we left from home to attend. We traveled 2 hours, from Bastrop, to attend and when we arrived learned the service began @ 2:00 instead. What is the purpose of your website if it is not to supply accurate and updated details. I think it is very irresponsible not to have this information available. Therefore I rate your funeral services rating 1 star.

Two weeks ago my 38 year old Grandson took his life. You can't imagine the sorry that was placed with South Park. Several families were impacted by this death so some discord was expected. I must say that Lisa, Andrew, Monica and Marcy handled the services with professionalism and dignity. Thanks so much for making a tragic situation bearable.
