Over the years I've pondered the meaning of trials and sorrow that my loved ones or I have endured. Some believe there are lessons to learn from hardship. I agree. when my aunt in law passed, my mother in law had the services there. since day on it has been hell with these people. its been over 2 months and my mother in law is still having to fight with these people. she passed in houma Louisiana and was transported to here. they charge my mother in law for the transport and said they would pay the funeral home that transported her. over 2 months later they still haven't paid for transport. the book marks they done are the worst ones I ever seen. the bookmarks were late and then all the dates were wrong. I would want my body throw in the garbage before I would want my family to deal with these people. stay clear.

I hope I did not send a personal message to a friend which will appear in Morgan Jeffer's book on line. If I did, could you delete it. It was not nice and i would not want anyone to read it.

Tews Funeral Home & Ryans Funeral Home are owned & operated by the same person, Mike Ryan. Please beware! Tews Funeral Home gave some of our sons ashes, after cremation, to people who attended the service without asking permission. We did not find this out until months later. My husband was never asked. IT WOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN AUTHORIZED. One of the people who received the ashes was his x-girlfriend. We feel she is part of the reason he is not with us anymore. My husband feels so violated. After finally getting ahold of Mt. Ryan, he kept beating around the bush and would not answer. Please beware. We wouldn't want this to happen to anyone else.

On 12/5/12, I attended Ocie Sear's funeral. I'm not sure if you are aware of this, but as I sat there during the service, I vowed I would let you know. During the service, I became very, very upset with the noise coming from the office area. Do you realize that during Ocie's funeral, your phone rang THREE times. People came in and out multiple times. People were talking loud enough that I could hear their conversations in the service. I find it EXTREMELY disrespectful to the people who are grieving their loved ones. If that's going to be happening, at least shut the double doors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
