Funeral Home Reviews
Whitestone, New York
My mom recently reposed at your Whitestone facility. Your personell showed kindness and attention to details and this was most appreciated. However, we feel that this home is in need of updating, cleaning and painting. Thank you for the opportunity to express my concerns

In contacting this funeral home with regard to the burial of a Veteran, I found them to be very elusive in providnig information to the point that they did not want the American Legion to attend the burial because "there will not be any services". When I told them we just want to pay our respects regardless of the lack of services, I received the same response - "there are not going to be any services - we just drop him off and the Veterans cemetery buries him at their leisure".

I feel that I must say that the Mertz Funeral Home staff must be the best and most dedicated in their field. During the last 6 months my family has lost both of our parents and an aunt who was vfery close to all of us. The staff at Metz took care of so many things and helped us with all of the details that they knew we would be unfamiliar with. They were great!

Mr Owens is the best. His professionalism, services, and pricing and more.

TLPickens Mortuary Services has been there for our family in some of our worst moments. The loss my grandmother, Omega Williams. The sudden deaths of my cousin Darian Clark and dear friend Elaine Wright. Almost unable to focus, Mr.Pickens was outstanding with all the arrangements. I can't thank him enough for all he has done.
