Funeral Home Reviews
Wantagh, New York
My family and I went to Charles J. O'Shea funeral home in Wantagh and were treated with the upmost respect from the initial phone call. My Grandmother was very sick, which worried us, but she looked fantastic. We gave them our most memorable pictures of her and they made a beautiful slideshow. During the visitation the staff was accommodating and always in sight if we needed anything. After church the limousine driver had coffee and rolls for us. These little touches made all the differences in our great time of loss.

The Spronz family thanks you from the bottom of our hearts. During a difficult time the Harris family, especially Rick Jr., were absolutely wonderful, professional, compassionate, kind and considerate. We experienced some difficulties with the hospital, and I can't say enough about Rick for stepping up, taking charge, getting answers and helping us through the process. There is no place I would rather pay respects to our dear angel Emily Isabella more, than at Harris Funeral Home. When the time comes all our family will work with Harris and we recommend them above all others to everyone needing funeral arrangements.

Very bad experience. Funeral Director wasn't compassionate, and acted like my friend's young daughter was a dog, the way he talked about her and the service. Very bad bedside manner.

I recently attended a funeral service on a 90 degree day and the funeral director did not provide air conditioning to the family and relatives attending the funeral. When I inquired as to why there was no AC on, the funeral director said it was broken. He further stated why was I asking now when the funeral was coming to a close. His attitude was dismissive and he lied because I felt air coming from one vent located in the entry of the funeral room. I would never recommend this funeral service as their customer service clearly is lacking.

Mr. Rodney Gibbs, the Director and his staff, were extremely respectful, understanding, and accommodating. I was so impressed by their professionalism, and their efficiency. In today's society, it is a blessing, to have someone treat your unfortunate circumstance with respect and regard, and not as another dollar sign. Thank You Mr. Gibbs, and your staff!!
