I've had a couple of close friends that have lost their mothers in the past few years. We've had many long talks about the loss they feel. What will I do without my cheerleader? Who do I talk to when I struggle with my rebellious child? How can I bring a new child into this world without my mom to s...

Funeral Home Reviews
Trenton, New Jersey

Moorestown, New Jersey
Worst experience ever thanks to the current Funeral Director (FD). The owner had overseen the funeral of both my brother and father, and were wonderful experiences, under the circumstances. My mother's burial was handled by the FD, and I am writing this review so anyone entering into approx. a $20,000.00 arrangement has a heads up to be on your toes. ISSUE NO. 1: Started by being told by the owner they would remove all jewelry placed on my Mother prior to burial, therefore I did not worry about jewelry placed on my Mother for the viewing. Prior to leaving the funeral parlor FD approached me and stated they would just leave her ring on and any jewerly, not thinking (I was rather upset) I agreed. 20 minutes after leaving the grave site I asked him about specific items and he stated it was too late late to retrieve the specific items I requested. ISSUE NO. 2: I had not signed off on my Mother's headstone engraving. When this was brought to my attention I told FD exactly how to engrave the stone, and more specifically not to engrave the stone as he desired to engrave it (using initials). Regardless FD did exactly what I told him absolutely not to do. Now every time I go to my Mother's grave site I will be reminded of the FD's work. I would not recommend his work to anyone. This chapter is the last in a person's life, and for so many important details to be so grossly mishandled cuts to the bone and adds to the pain and sorrow of the loss of my mother, I would not wish this on the anyone.

Garfield, New Jersey
I live over 2 hours away from Kamienski Funeral Home in Garfield, New Jersey now, however, as a child I grew up in the area and many of my family still live in the surrounding areas. Kamienski has taken wonderful care of all my family since I can remember. My mom, who now lives with me, wanted her funeral pre-paid and her arrangements to be made here in Garfield. The concern and helpfulness I received when making my mom s arrangements were genuine. You can t imagine what a relief is is to me to have all the arrangements done living so far away.

Wood Ridge, New Jersey
First this place is dated, I dont think it has been renovated since the 70's the furniture is filthy and it smells of Cigarretes. They switch the prices and place add ons in the middle of services. My Aunt was laid out in this place and I told my relatives to never use this place again.

Wallington, New Jersey
Kamienski Funeral Home has quite the reputation. First, the father hires an habitual cuss John Condrick, who underhandledly has stolen excessive finances during Pauls wrongful imprisonment for 20 years, has driven away devout clientel and key staff members such as Henry Scarpa whom were pleasureable to deal with avoiding Johns arrogance and insults to families. His longtime companion works the office and numbers and has been known to have funneled finances out of the business, along with occupying the firms property in Passaic, which housed a former location and the vehicles. John, do yourself and the profession a favor, but mostly the funeral home, resign your license and become a customer yourself. You are not wanted by the communities you have deceived for years since licensed in 1959. Give Fred Surdyka the advantage to make Kamienski Funeral Home a respected institution you have ruinated. Your absence wont be missed.
