May 13, 2013 was my Dads wake, let me tell ya Dennis could not have made us more comfortable then what he did. He paid attention to all the details, large and small; under the circumstances it is a comfort to have someone looking over these things. We had 90+ attend the wake and many people asked me if we personally knew Dennis and those who worked for him, I said no but that's how they treated all of us.

Most obit's have an area where condolences may be sent, however this one is only possible to send flowers. Crass commercialization at the begining and the end I see.

Country Club Hills, Illinois
I attended the services of Vicki Pittman yesterday and was very disappointed in your services. With today technology you should have known due to the weather, there will have to be a DELAYED BURIAL. The family should not had to put through that long ride from the church to Washington Memory Gardens walk in the mud and standing water to be told this. The Family entrusted you to make this a less painful experience as possible. But LEAKS & Sons let the family and friends down. I will never use your services or refer you to any one. This was very insensitive on Leaks & Sons!!!!!!!!

Tews Funeral Home & Ryans Funeral Home are owned & operated by the same person, Mike Ryan. Please beware! Tews Funeral Home gave some of our sons ashes, after cremation, to people who attended the service without asking permission. We did not find this out until months later. My husband was never asked. IT WOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN AUTHORIZED. One of the people who received the ashes was his x-girlfriend. We feel she is part of the reason he is not with us anymore. My husband feels so violated. After finally getting ahold of Mt. Ryan, he kept beating around the bush and would not answer. Please beware. We wouldn't want this to happen to anyone else.
