Funeral Home Reviews

I tried to leave a condolence message for the Bennington family, but could only find where I could leave a card for $6.90. I will try later, but was disappointed that I couldn't since we will be out of town for the service.

Tews Funeral Home & Ryans Funeral Home are owned & operated by the same person, Mike Ryan. Please beware! Tews Funeral Home gave some of our sons ashes, after cremation, to people who attended the service without asking permission. We did not find this out until months later. My husband was never asked. IT WOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN AUTHORIZED. One of the people who received the ashes was his x-girlfriend. We feel she is part of the reason he is not with us anymore. My husband feels so violated. After finally getting ahold of Mt. Ryan, he kept beating around the bush and would not answer. Please beware. We wouldn't want this to happen to anyone else.

Your computer system is of no value, other than posting you phone number. I wasn't able to use it to find a funeral let alone the obituary. totally unacceptable.

May 13, 2013 was my Dads wake, let me tell ya Dennis could not have made us more comfortable then what he did. He paid attention to all the details, large and small; under the circumstances it is a comfort to have someone looking over these things. We had 90+ attend the wake and many people asked me if we personally knew Dennis and those who worked for him, I said no but that's how they treated all of us.
