I've had a couple of close friends that have lost their mothers in the past few years. We've had many long talks about the loss they feel. What will I do without my cheerleader? Who do I talk to when I struggle with my rebellious child? How can I bring a new child into this world without my mom to s...

Funeral Home Reviews
Cortez, Colorado
As there is no compition for business in the surrounding communities this funeral home did not treat my family with "respect, dignity, and understanding" (as on Ertels funeral chapel website). Four Corners Funeral Chapel is also owned by the same owners of Ertels. Making our experience difficult. Not only did we receive misinformed information, but when trying to straighten it out, hung up on!

After suffering the loss of our mother we continued to suffer further atrocities for 3 days at the hands of an organization that leads loved ones to believe they are in some way affiliated with the VA by their name alone. It took a small army of 5 wonderful people: Chris Dusrenne, Ron Snell, Lisa Carter, Justin Ferraro and Don Allen to pull off the most amazingly beautiful funeral in record time. Chris instantly took charge and called Ron to make it happen, then Lisa set everything up in 24 hrs. including Fort Logan National Cemetery. Justin and Don escorted our mother to her mass and burial in Denver. I almost forgot 2 more people - Ed Rottenborn the beautician who did more than just give us each a lock of mom’s hair and Hope Alvarez who assisted my sister with picture setup. You and your loved one will be cared for by a top notch organization with perfection, professionalism, and honest from the heart caring. Words alone cannot express the gratitude my sister and I feel about Swan Law Funeral Directors and their outstanding staff. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Linda and Nan

I really do not know how to e-mail. I was hoping this would work. I am trying to ask the family of AJ Farris to contact a special friend of AJ's, my father in-law Clyde Garcia whose telephone number is 719-580-2588. AJ & Clyde worked side by side for many many years. Will you please forward this for me? I HOPE. Thank You: John chevelleoholic@yahoo.com

We recently lost our mother due to complications after an unexpected surgery. What a shock! It was devastating. Anyone who has been through the loss of a loved one knows it is a daunting and overwhelming experience. We were all dreading the trip to the funeral home to start the process of putting mom to rest. However, Barb and the incredible staff at Swan-Law made the experience as painless as possible. The staff was professional, thoughtful and most of all genuine. Yes, guiding you through the process is their job. However, each person we dealt with was sincere, gentle and understanding. The on-site reception room we opted to use after the memorial was perfect. It was so easy to have guests simply cross the hall to visit and share stories about mom. We were not pressured to use the room, it was simply offered. Barb also suggested a very modest menu that fit our needs perfectly. My father is so happy with the service and attention we received, he plans on making pre-arrangements for his memorial with Swan-Law's pre-planning service. We shed plenty of tears planning mom's services, but were surprised to also share quite a few smiles and laughs at the same time. I would highly recommend using the Swan-Law for your funeral/memorial needs.
