Funeral Home Reviews
Auburn, Alabama
I used this funeral home to purchase a head stone for my parents in MA. My parents always took in foster children. So they designed a head stone with children. Once everything was done it was shipped to the Cemetery in MA where I live. Mr. Peterson was so easy to work with.

You need to include Larry Helget as a nephew in Harold Schmid's online obituary. They were together all the time. Larry will be extremely hurt if he reads it & doesn't see his name.

I was very displeased with the services rendered by the Smith Funeral Service INC My relative looked horrible and she was poorly taken care of even if it was short notice never in my life would I recommend this company to anyone. I am deeply dissatisfied. I felt so much disrespect because the funeral was barely over before they pushed her into the ground. These people should be ashamed of themselves for what they did. I WILL NEVER LOOK TO THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!!!!

I have been to several viewings at this FH. I have been horrified at how bad the deceased looked. Whoever is preparing these bodies needs more experience/education. I was there this week for a viewing and the mother of the deceased was horrified by the appearance of her son. You are devasting families and friends by the bad prepartion of the bodies. Please do something about this. It is very sad,

I recently attended a funeral service on a 90 degree day and the funeral director did not provide air conditioning to the family and relatives attending the funeral. When I inquired as to why there was no AC on, the funeral director said it was broken. He further stated why was I asking now when the funeral was coming to a close. His attitude was dismissive and he lied because I felt air coming from one vent located in the entry of the funeral room. I would never recommend this funeral service as their customer service clearly is lacking.
