Funeral Home Reviews
Jamaica - Queens, New York
This by far is one of the worst funeral home I had to deal with. The only day he was nice was when he came by to pick up my grandmother. After the contract was signed he was rude to my family and friends completely UNPROFESSIONAL. I would never EVER recommend this place to anyone and hope he loses business. It is a very difficult time when a family member passes and the people running this funeral home does NOT understand that. I truly hope people read this before choosing this funeral home.

In contacting this funeral home with regard to the burial of a Veteran, I found them to be very elusive in providnig information to the point that they did not want the American Legion to attend the burial because "there will not be any services". When I told them we just want to pay our respects regardless of the lack of services, I received the same response - "there are not going to be any services - we just drop him off and the Veterans cemetery buries him at their leisure".

TLPickens Mortuary Services has been there for our family in some of our worst moments. The loss my grandmother, Omega Williams. The sudden deaths of my cousin Darian Clark and dear friend Elaine Wright. Almost unable to focus, Mr.Pickens was outstanding with all the arrangements. I can't thank him enough for all he has done.

I drove everyone in the office crazy by calling, asking questions, crying b/c of family issues & EVERYONE tolerated more than they should have. A very special thank you to Phil.
